How To Leap Into Your New Home With a
Smooth Process...
|
|
|
Leap #1 |
Christina will guide you through getting pre-approved by a mortgage broker or lender. This way, in advance, you know what you
will qualify for and the homes that are available to satisfy all your
needs. See
the info sheet in the finance section for a guide on the
approval process and items needed. It is important do do this step
first since getting a loan for a mortgage often takes a few weeks
for the lender to complete. Getting pre-approved usually takes a 10
minute phone call on your part and allows a lender to get a head
start on getting to know you and your financial needs. Most offers
that you put in on a house will require a pre-approval letter. |

contact your lender and start the process of your home
loan. |

#5 |
Christina will guide you through your loan application with your mortgage broker or
lender of choice. The broker or lender will provide you with a good
faith estimate, other related costs, and a booklet containing
specific loan information. |
|
Leap #6 |
The lending
institution will request an appraisal and survey of the home
from the verification of employment and assets such as bank
accounts. |
| Leap #7 |
I will guide you through hiring a Home Inspector and a Termite Company to do all of
the necessary inspections to make sure your home is safe and secure.
|
| Leap #8 |
I will guide you through calling and checking around on rates and
purchasing your
homeowner’s insurance policy. |
| Leap #9 |
Your lender will continue to process the paperwork and prepare
to disburse the funds for closing. |
| Leap #10 |
Once all the items on the residential contract are completed,
both the seller and buyer agree to all terms, the lender has all
paperwork completed and the money ready to disburse, all parties
meet at a title company to sign closing documents and the seller is
paid and the title of the home becomes yours. |
| Leap #11 |
All appropriate documents are sent to the county recorder’s
office to become official. |
